High Efficiency Absorbents

Our high-efficiency spill absorbents are the ideal choice for commercial and industrial remediation and stabilization applications.

Applications
These products can be used to absorb a variety of fluids, including oil, water, sludge, fuels and other miscellaneous spills*, making them ideal for:

  • Waste remediation
  • Liquid stabilization
  • Sludge stabilization
  • Slurry stablization
  • Hydro excavation
  • Lagoon dredging
  • Waste incineration
  • Sports field absorbent
  • Solidification of flowback material
  • Accidental leaks and spills

Superior Absorption Power

With absorption capacities up to 5-to-1**, our products outperform clay, sawdust and other granular absorbents. Greater absorption power means less product required, providing you with material, labor and disposal savings.

* Not recommended for absorbing strong oxidizing agents, strong acids or caustics.
** 5-to-1 claim on weight to weight absorption of water. Fluids and absorbency rates vary by product & application. Rates listed should be treated as approximations.
1 Absorbency based on weight of liquid absorbed by product. Testing executed under controlled conditions in ANDE laboratory, Jan-Feb 2016.
2 Truckloads defined as shipping 50,000 lbs of product for all but Green Sawdust and ANDE 820L, which given their low densities, 24,000 lbs is assumed per truckload.
3 Excludes 820L given its low density. Two truckloads of 820L are required per 100 cubic yards.
